Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cosette website and text-to-speech tools (the "Service"), owned and operated by Zohaib Akeel. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

You may use the Service to generate voiceovers from text you own or have the right to use. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory or infringing.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, including by cloning a real person's voice without consent.
  • Use the Service to create spam, fraud, or misleading content.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.

3. Generated audio & license

Subject to these Terms, audio you generate may be used for personal and commercial projects such as videos, e-learning, advertisements and IVR. You are solely responsible for the text you submit and for how you use the generated audio.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics and software, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

5. Third-party services & advertising

The Service may include advertising and links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and that third party.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the generated audio will meet your requirements. See our Disclaimer for more.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cosette and its owner from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
